The new Jeep SUV will share parts with the newest RAM 1500, which will be built in conjunction with RAM HD. Large hidden test have found independent rear suspensions that free up space in the third row and replace premium SUVs such as the Lincoln Navigator in place of the Grand Wagoneer.

Engine options have not been confirmed at this stage, although the FCA has stated its intention to launch eight Jeep plugins in the United States by 2022, with the Grand Wagoneer being the next recipient of such a powertrain. The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter V8 engines of the new RAM 1500 are also reliable providers. At this point, the price has not been confirmed, but the FCA should check out the upcoming Grand Wagoner hit showrooms in the second half of 2021, except for another delay.
